This is one of Australia's most extensive surveys on Generation Y, including young people from over 50 cultural backgrounds, levels of education, modes of employment and industries, aged 16 - 24.
The survey sought their Gen Y views on topics as diverse as career, learning and development, leadership, work environment, marriage and children. The findings from this survey formed an integral part of the recommendations of a Ministerial review into recruitment and retention strategies for the Australian Defence Forces in 2006.
